Environmentally friendly production
The naBe includes criteria for paper made from primary fibres as well as paper made from recycled fibres.
Essential criteria for the procurement of copy paper and graphic paper:
- Recycled paper: use of at least 95% recovered paper
- Primary fibre paper: At least 70% of the wood comes from sustainably managed forests
- Existence of a paper profile and limit values for the individual emission parameters
- Bleaching of the paper without chlorine
- Certified environmental management system at the production site
Look out for the following quality marks and marks for environmental management systems:
ATTENTION: The following quality mark proves that individual naBe criteria are fulfilled. However, it does not prove that the product fulfils all naBe criteria and is therefore naBe-compliant:
